Brutal Honesty - Final Blog - Daniel Hill

I think the thing that stood out to me the most throughout all the lectures of this course was the emphasis placed on the importance of being brutally honest. So many times we are afraid of saying something just because it might offend someone else. Simply put, sometimes what needs to be said is worth the risk of hurting someone's feelings. Honesty is the only way big changes can be made in anything we do, be it at a corporate level or on an individual basis in one's own life. This course has helped me understand that telling the whole truth in every case is going to more beneficial than lying or failing to say anything about 99% of the time. It's something that I've definitely taken to heart and will be applying to my own life in the future.
