Final Blog Assignment - Brett Greenberg
Over the past semester, this class helped me learn how to look at my life through the perspective of a designer. One of the ways that my perspective changed was by taking risks, and trusting myself and my judgment in what I designed, whether it was the artificial intelligence in a futuristic refrigerator, or a new attachment for one of Spider-Man's weapons, or even designing a new daily routine for myself that allows me to live a happier, healthier, more satisfying lifestyle. If I can trust myself to take a step into unknown territory when it comes to designing projects, then I can trust myself to take a step into unknown territory when it comes to designing my own life. If I want to be happier than I am now, I need to design something new in my life to fulfill that want. If I want to be smarter, or in better shape than I am now, I need to design something new in my life that allows me to pursue and ultimately achieve those goals. And just like most of our projects that we did this year, once we have the right ideas, it's all about taking those ideas and turning them into something real. And that's what I've learned from this class.
