1-Danny Town

Hi everyone,

My name is Danny Town and yes, Danny is my legal name and not Daniel. I currently am a Junior in Informatics here at IU, obviously. I am from Carmel, Indiana but I moved to Missouri just last year. Something that is interesting about myself is that I am a music producer. I started off producing music five years ago. I mostly produce rap and RnB type music but have ventured out into the EDM world just a little bit recently. I started off producing just for fun but ended up having production placements on a mixtape that ended up on one of Facebook's biggest video games (a few years back) and also produced Purdue's basketball hype song in 2011. I also was able to go on backstage at a Kanye West & Drake concert due to being friends with the producers this year. The only thing that worries me about this class is the art design aspect. I am not a big artist, nor have really any drawing skills other than making stick figures. The new idea that I took away from this class is how design makes us think. How the door is designed a certain to make us think a push or pull aspect was very cool. It made me think more and more on why things are designed a certain way. Here is a picture of me.
