2-Josh Avooske

I think that Amazon has an obvious design. When you go to Amazon you have the search bar right at the top to use for the quick and easy item search. That makes the whole online shopping process quick and easy. In case you don’t exactly know what you want they have specific departments you can go to and find something you would like. Amazon also has a creative feature by using your search history for every time you come back to the main page it has items at the bottom that you recently viewed. Amazon uses this feature creatively by showing you those items you may have convinced yourself you didn’t want at the time but they are the first thing you see when you come back. While you shop, Amazon also has a window on every screen promoting Amazon Prime.  They use this advertisement to their advantage by enticing the user to sign up and get 2-day shipping every time you shop.

Overall Amazon uses simplistic and creative ways to make an obvious design. Amazon has the well-known search bar, a department guide for items and they help persuade the users into signing up for their Prime service.
