8 - Albert Park

As I first started to take this class, I had no idea what Human Computer Interaction meant. All I thought was humans interacting with computers, but that wasn't what this class was about. Now I know that we design various stuff for users to have a good "usability" experience. In the process of designing, we develop persona's to best match what the user likes with the design. Users wouldn't like to use technology if they didn't like it. In order to produce the best design, we would have to go through various sketches and various usability tests so that it fits best for the user. I always thought that what the technology does is important, but it is also important that it connects with the user well. Design makes the technology functional.
