8-Daniel Hill

While I have learned quite a lot in this class thus far, the thing I like the most is probably usability testing and analysis/redesign based on that testing. As a programmer, I am often tasked with writing the code and sometimes designing the project at hand. However, I haven't really gotten to see how these projects play out. It is extremely beneficial to actually see a user's reactions to what I have created, even if it is just something on paper. I am learning general things that work and do not work, and it's something I plan on applying in future projects and even jobs. In fact, I mentioned usability testing in an software engineering internship interview, and the interviewer mentioned positions that link programming with usability testing that sound incredibly interesting, and I now plan on looking into this specific field much further.
