A site that I find to have obvious design, is 9gag. This site has a clear purpose (entertainment) and straightforward usage. 9gag's simple design allows new users to become "pros" at using the site in a matter of minutes. Due to the fact that the user can see that there is another photo, under the one they are viewing, it is obvious to them that they need to scroll down to see it. Another way that 9gag intentionally persuades it users to perform certain actions is by placing links below each photo that allow the photo to be shared on Facebook and Twitter.
The website is designed so that the user can choose from different categories of images/GIFs to look at, using a banner at the top of the page with a tab for each category. Without any instruction, users know to click on one of those tabs or scroll down to view new content. Because there are a number of different categories, the site is able to focus less on targeting a specific audience and more on the activity (of making people laugh and helping them kill time).
