The website I chose to write about is PayPal. PayPal is a secure, online payment business that allows users to safely purchase things online. It is an e-commerce business. Anyway, their website uses a very simplistic design allowing easy use for customers. I believe the motivation behind the design for paypal was to provide an easy way for peers to exchange money in a safe, online way. Obviously PayPal has their fair share of issues, but every site does. Like I stated above the main motivation for PayPal's design is simplicity. Simplicity in the design and layout of the webpage. As well as simplicity in the function and user interface of the site. PayPal made it easy for users to use so that any regular Joe can make use of its services.
