Week 5 Blog assignment

One feature that I would like to take out of the improved YouTube would be the ability to click to see the lyrics and the artist biography. When I think about it, these features really do not significantly increase the user's experience because the artist will already have a profile page. I believe it would be overkill and unnecessary to have at least the artist biography on the page because having the same information in two different places can be awkward. Personally, I believe that the people who are viewing the information about the artist will already have basic knowledge about the artist. I would even be willing to admit that the lyrics and the artist information might be out of place under the video because the users are looking to listen to the music, not find out about the artist's personal life. What might be a better improvement is to put a link to his or her profile where they can access that information because that way, the information will always be relevant.
