I believe that the user's mental model will allow for the user to gain knowledge of how to use the new feature quickly. For those who already use YouTube as a source of music, they know how frustrating and have knowledge of how to use the site for a source of music. Since they have an understanding and an algorithm to using YouTube for music, gaining knowledge of this new feature will be simple for them since they will just have to be informed that the new feature exists.

Programmers are the people who write the software. For that reason, they understand exactly how it is made, what features it has, what limitations it has, how to modify it, and so on and so forth. If they understand everything going on with the program, they will have mastered the use of the program without even having instruction on how to use it. Mental models contrast with the implementation models because the programmer might try to add some fancy effect into the program which may be known to him, but unknown to the users who did not write the software.
