5- Ally Brinzea

For the YouTube design, I would drop the Recommended Channels feature on the side of the homepage. Yes, it can be very useful, but this kind of list isn't the way that people find new channels to subscribe to. Normally, a person will find a very good video, look up the author of the video, and if the author has other good uploads then the user would then subscribe to him. It is not often that a user will only go through channels without having a base video to spark interest. Since the majority would not look through a recommended channel feature, I would strike that from the YouTube homepage.
